Collingwood will take an unchanged line up into its AFL Women’s clash with the Western Bulldogs in Moe on Sunday. Buoyed by their win over Melbourne in Alice Springs, coach Wayne Siekman and his staff have opted to name the same 21 players that brought home the team’s first victory of the season. Bree White and untried Box Hill recruit Kristy Stratton have both been named as emergencies. Entering the fifth round of the AFL Women’s season, the Magpies sit in last place on the ladder with just one win to their name. But the eight-team competition is a little more complex beyond the first glance, with the Pies able to rise as high as fifth with a win on Sunday, given their impressive percentage of 100.00, which ranks as the third highest in the league. |
