Round 12
Collingwood v Adelaide

Collingwood forward Jamie Elliott will make his long-awaited return from a broken leg against Adelaide on Saturday afternoon.

Elliott sat out nine rounds of the home and away season as he recovered from the nasty leg injury, the 28-year-old will be a welcome addition to the Pies forward line.

Ruckman Max Lynch gets his first opportunity of the season, after Brodie Grundy was ruled out with neck soreness from the incident against Geelong.

Forward Josh Thomas returns from an ankle complaint, while second-year midfielder Jay Rantall comes in for his third game at the highest level.

After being one of the best afield in round 11, Chris Mayne has been managed for the clash against the Crows.

Callum Brown and Tom Wilson have been omitted.

The travelling party went into isolation on Wednesday evening and will complete a fly-in, fly-out mission on Saturday.

Our emergencies are Callum Brown, Finlay Macrae, Mark Keane and Tom Wilson. The medical substitute will be determined one hour before the match starts.
